Hello CALL/WPLL families!

The big day is almost here… Opening Day 2026 at Loma Alta Park! 

It’s been a busy and exciting few weeks with practices and Picture Day, and we’re looking forward to officially kicking off the season with our annual pancake breakfast. We’ll be celebrating the start of the season with special guests, team introductions, and a ceremonial first pitch. We hope you can join us! 

Opening Day Schedule

Saturday, February 28 at Loma Alta Park (North Field) 

9am - 11am — Pancake breakfast (free while supplies last)

10am - 11am — Dignitaries, Team Intros & Ceremonial First pitch

Teams will be lining up at 9:45 for team intros with Crown City Drum Squad. Please be sure to have your players there by this time if you would like to participate in this part of the ceremony.

While most games will be taking place at Loma Alta, be sure to check your schedule on the GameChanger app. A select number of games following the Opening Day ceremony will be held at Robinson Park and Washington Park.

Please continue using GameChanger to communicate with your team and coaches. Most importantly, remember to RSVP for games and practices. Many coaches will prepare the lineup the night before, so knowing which players are expected will greatly help with planning.

Team Parents/Volunteers

With the first games happening this weekend, we want to make sure every team is set up for success.

Each team should have a Team Parent to help organize the snack schedule for games. 

For Farm teams and above, we also need a parent to volunteer to keep score. 

Please coordinate with your team on the app to make sure these roles are covered before the weekend. We appreciate all of our volunteers and could not do this without you!
